I will be purchasing a V4S in the next 45 days. I have been to the Albuquerque dealership as well as the Salt Lake City dealership. Next Wednesday I head to the Portland, OR dealership. (I am very thorough) I am curious as to what kind of deal is to be had as I have zero desire to pay MSRP plus all their BS fees. Fortunately, as an Oregon resident, there is no sales tax. I am planning on having the Akrapovic exhaust added as well as radiator guards while they have it apart.

I have read through this thread and it seems as though the dealers do wiggle a bit on price but not to expect a gigantic price slash. I am looking at approximately a 4.5% interest rate from my credit union. I wonder if the dealer can do any better on that.

I bet if you called Gold Coast Motorsports in NY and told them you are in Oregon and you were interested in purchasing a a bike they would discount the bike for you very nice. Reason being is....youre a customer they would never have. Im in an MC in NY and can only ride my harleys. Im friends with a HA member from another state who is the GM of a Harley dealership. Im looking to get either a 2018 or 2019 114 Fat Bob with upgraded paint. Bike retails for $19,100. Prep $900 (bullshit charge) freight $350, motorvehicle fees, doc fees, and tax. The bike would cost $22,900. The dude I know told me $17,400 for the bike, $300 for doc fees and I pay for shipping to my house $400 and tax. Total $19,639. Saves me $3264. Ben the owner of gold coast who i only deal with gave $1000 off on my 2016 bmw S1000RR. And discounts on my 2015 BMW S1000R and my 1299. Im sure he would give you more that $1000 off. Ask him for $1500 off and you get a company to ship it. Probaby $400. They dont charge prep because as he told me the prep charge is already included in the cost of the bike. Some customers dont know that and are happy when they ask for no prep and the dealer says ok. You have nothing to lose by calling Gold Coast Motorsports. Ask to only speak to Ben. Tell him Aaron his favorite customer told you to call.

Sweet! Thank you! I will call him next week after I visit Motocorsa in Portland. I want them to show me some numbers first. I don't care where I buy it honestly. I want the best deal. Gold Coast Motorsports. Thank you Aaron.

... did you preemptively list the V4S in your "I Ride"?

I can get any Ducati at invoice cost, that would save a bit of cash. That should apply to the V4 and V4S. I actually forgot about that until this thread.

@CSV4 yep. Sure did. It is a foregone conclusion at this point.

The company I work for has a deal with Ducati, Aprilia and I think Triumph. There are perks and that's one of them,

Well I called 3 times and asked to speak to Ben. He was either out to lunch or whatever every time. I left my number and name all three times and never got a call back. Oh well.
