V4 Speciale USA arrival: VIN given?

I have a Speciale on order with one dealer and no specific arrival date. Another dealer says theirs is on the way and can give me a VIN—and that if the first dealer doesn’t have a VIN they aren’t getting anything soon (if at all).

For those of you awaiting a Speciale in the US, has your dealer given you a VIN or anything else concrete about your bike?

You’ll get a vin once the bike is on the water

Vin #'s aren't assigned until vehicles pass port inspection.

Ok, I was at the dealer yesterday and the good news the Speciale is on the boat. So @ 2-3 wks till I get it. Wife kicked me out of the bedroom because I am to excited.
Then Nitrouz just happened to be there with his S and mounted Acra System. First the bike looks way better then on pictures and/or videos. Second she is loud but great sound. The Panigale 1199R with the Acra System is civilized in comparison.
Also I don't think that system can be topped by others very compact and no fiddling with the ECU.
Thanks from Nitrouz

That's super exciting!! I hope mines on the same boat as I'm just across the water from you in Victoria. I haven't heard back from my dealer so I'm not sure if it'll be in the same batch. Fingers crossed!

Speciale's are here. Mine came in earlier this week. #126. They should hit other dealerships any day now
