V4S fly and ride

Couldn't resist the V4S so flying out to pick one up on Friday.

500 mile ride back home and Omaha is supposed to be 97 degrees

Far from ideal weather, I may ride a couple hours and hang out somewhere until the temperature drops a bit.

I did this ride in 2013 when picking up a (since sold) Diavel but the weather was cooler.

Wish me luck!

And for those worried I'm not going to lock down the throttle the entire way. Will be varying rpm/load, compression braking and cool downs at fuel stops to break her in.

Well if you makes you feel any better, while you're riding home in that heat we will be riding at the track all weekend in the same heat in full leathers!

Thanks guys the trip was great.

Uneventful except a bird flew in front of me and vaporized on one of the front ohlins.

Loving the bike, it's a blast. Thanks to Jarel and the Ducati Omaha crew.
Thanks from Georgian Ducatisti

Awesome trip. I know the V4 will go great in the garage with your other red beast.
