Smile V4 S to soft suspension

Hi Guys,

For V4s owners since electronic suspension is working OK but the springs
Are way to soft.., even in brake support on 4 it still can bottom it out on brakes.
My weight 200, aprox. 95-97 kg

Any suggestions or manual settings?

I've already ordered new springs front and rear from Omaha. I'm a bit larger than you, and didn't want to waste my time with the stock springs.

Edit: I'm going to have the springs installed at pickup. I don't want to damage them.

I am 200 with all the gear on and my V4s is fine so far. I increased the preload on the front by a small amount. Otherwise just have the suspension in dynamic mode. Of course that is just the damping. Maybe it will be too soft at the track if I ever get to the track.

I'm 190-195 with gear, front spring pre-load is 15 turns (out of 16) in. I'm at 33mm of static sag. We were able to get the rear spring into the 25-30mm static sag range. I'll be ordering new springs this fall because I'm just too lazy to take off 10 lbs which is probably all I'll need to get my sag numbers.
I've noticed the same issues under braking very unsettled in the braking zone. The bike rides very loose in the braking zone and off the corner. The middle of the corner still needs work. We went to the VIR South course last Friday and Barber this past April. Still dialing her in.
I plan to take the bike out of dynamic mode for my next track day at Road Atlanta August 3rd.

Have you tried upping the preload to get your sag to 35 front and 30 rear. Iím betting the front is in the 45mm range.

My main complaint after 300 miles of riding is that the dynamic suspension has not had enough damping, so now I am playing with custom dynamic suspension settings. Did some big adjustments today to tighten things up but have not ridden the bike yet.
