I actually like this exhaust more than most. It's simple, like a GP exhaust, and doesn't look like too shabby.
I got the CRC bodywork also and I donít like it , So I ordered the full race kit from Afix Moto, itís really a great set of race bodywork with the belly pan for the full arkapovic system

MotoX183: I know a guy in Flatonia that can make whatever you want happen to a bellypan.

That looks like the same or similar exhaust they are running in on some of the SSTK1000 bikes.

Yeah, and it looks like they offered the belly pan with it as an option, as well as race ECU and air filter.. #fingerscrossed

Is there any price for this yet? I knew about the exhaust before the UK distributor did so obviously they donít have a price yet.

No way to correct the fuelling either so far either. The o2 sensors canít be disabled so a piggy back fuelling module such as a power commander or rapid bike isnít going to work

Piggy back systems like the rapidbike don't disable the O2 sensors, they just modulate the voltage the sensors are sending to the ECU. The ECU senses no tampering with those kinds of controllers, hence why your warranty is maintained when you use them.

I contacted Rapidbike and the only think keeping it from working on the V4 is they don't have a V4 and haven't developed a wiring harness for it. The module itself will work just fine once the harness is developed, however.

FM told me it would be available around September, but didn't provide an estimated price. I know someone who saw the system at WDW and they said it was louder and sounded better (lower pitched) than the Termi system.
Thanks from MotoX183 and 750steve

Thanks for the exhaust info, nice to know a sound comparrison too.

I had a RB on my 1199 & really liked it, less popular here in the UK but i would consider another unit.
When my bike was on the Dyno my tuner told me Dynojet were having 'difficulty' because of the o2 sensors, maybe i've picked it up wrongly?

As far as I know, Power Commanders have a hard time with O2 sensors because they either attempt to eliminate them or can only send a fixed voltage. Rapidbike modulates the voltage constantly so it gives you more control over fueling.

However, a friend told me he believes the V4 ECU is new and has a built-in feature designed to attempt to detect piggyback controllers. It supposedly detects tampering of O2 sensor voltage and slowly tunes out the changes the module is making. It's all hearsay right now, not a lot of info out, so it's a waiting game right now. Luckily, the FM exhaust won't be available for order until September and will probably take a few months after that to be delivered, so there's time for fueling solutions to be developed.

Great looking solution! Too bad this setup is not available for the older Panis.
