I Ride: Panigale R | Streetfighter 1098S
GPS signal acquisition is almost immediate after Key turn on my R. Test it outdoors after installing the GPS module (the symbol should display even in absence of the DDA unit).

Problem ist that the diagnose plug at the V4 is underneath the seat, so you always have to loosen the screws to get the DDA stick..

That's why i considered the tail mounting option.
But is i wrote above, it did not work, no GPS signal...
Having the same problem as you !!! Can't make this kit work 😕
Tried the GPS sensor In front and the dash GPS signal Is still not there !!
Even tried It with AND without the DDA plugged In the back and NOPE !
Let me know If you can make yours work ... I will keep you posted too ...

Does the engine has to run or just having the dash ON will make this GPS logo appear ?

I know on the 1299 you had to pop into the menu and turn on the DDA. Not sure if the V4 requires something similar.

You can tell if the GPS is present if the map "point" symbol is present as the picture below.
As I can see on this video, It seems that there Is no GPS logo on the dash ???

Race mode vs. Sport mode. Likely may not see the little location icon while in race mode. That could also be related to the MMS system separately.

Just speculating, as I'm unsure.

I have been scratching my head with my kit as well. Best I can conclude is there is the flexibilty to mount in the front or rear for GPS unit. The extra wires and connections are a bit unclear as to their function but one thought is the ability to incorporate the media kit? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting this ...

In this diagram, what are these connectors for ( P and N ) ?
Is It normal I have only one on of them my bike ? Is the ''P'' connector the one that plugs for the flashers and license plate lights ...?

I do believe the kit has the flexibility to mount GPS receiver in the tail or dash. So the wires included make that possible. I still am unsure how to operate any of it if any has experience or directions>
