Still unable to get autolap feature to work. Dash not showing location icon. DDA installed and on, with ICON present on dash. Lap time on and started. Tried mounted front and rear. Dealer insist no activation of GPS module required? If that is incorrect please share a shop or knowledgeable resource I may contact please. This is quite frustrating.

It's definitely necessary to activate the GPS with Ducati diagnose system.
I got this information from Ducati Austria.
Not yet had the possibility to let them do it. Probably within the next two weeks.

Hi, i unfortunately have to reactivate this thread

After activating GPS System by my dealer, i got GPS Signal and lap timer in the dash works.
Well, it works more or less. As others already mentioned, GPS signal seems to be poor (i was in Rijeka - Croatia) and sometimes it did not recognize finish line and kept timing for the next lap. GPS sensor is mounted in the nose.

But my real problem is that the data stored on the DDA stick are crap.
I can see just few channels (speed, rpm, gas, gear, lean angle, distance). But i do not get GPS information, and therefore no map in the Graphic analyzer software. And it does not separate the laps and therefore i can not compare my actions on the track.

On my 899 i also had much more data channels for selection like DTC,...

Anyone having same troubles?
Thanks from BZortman and jhSBKrdr

Can someone tell me how to review the lap times after I get off the bike?

If you want the lap timer to not miss laps, on the slowest corner press the high beam button. This will instruct the gps lap timer of the beginning of the lap. If you take the middle of the straight, depending on where you are going to cross the straight, the gps lap timer may miss it.

I have the same problem as you have then I download the dda data on a computer. For some reason the gps channel is missing, which leads the software to believe that my full session is a single lap. Painful.
I hear pressing the high beam button at every lap would solve it but that defeats the purpose of the gps lap timer in the first place!
Hope someone in this forum will find a trick or Ducati will release a fix.

I am having similar issues. Setting the point at a place easy to hit very closely seems to help avoid missed laps. However my DDA is missing GPS info as well.

I hope someone figures it out.

Let me rephrase that.
I have the lap timer working and my GoPro records the front screen showing my lap timer working.
My issue is that I don't know how to go back and review historical laps on the lap timer.
Can someone tell me how that's done?

You should have access to the “lap data” section in the menus.
Go to settings/lap/lap data.

Also remember that it will only store 12 laps so if you do not erase them it won’t continue.
