Here's a photo of the side fairing pre-assembly. You can see clearly it doesn't look like a wrap.
Thanks from ddd269 and jaycstlo

Looks like wet paint. So smooth. Feels like normal paint though? Iím guessing it does if you can wax and polish it.

Yeah it does. There's a few coats of clearcoat over top so it's smooth like paint.

how long will that last? Is the main reason you do this so that the OEM color is still there? Sounds exactly like a custom paint job, is the clear coat a "wrap" clear or paint clear?

I Ride: '16 Pani R, 1098R Bayliss, KTM1090R.
How does it cope with areas of higher temp closer to the exhaust system etc?
Will it be the same as the standard coating or do you need to be a little more careful in certain areas and add the heat deflecting foils?

They guarantee it for 5 years. Yes I do this to keep my red paint underneath for trade in value. And I can go back to red whenever I want. All 14 coats are "wrap" based.

I'm curious about that myself. Another buddy had it done on his s1krr last year and still looks like new. But ours has much more heat so time will tell.
Thanks from 990Glen
