It's interesting that we're pretty much in the dark a month and a half from the official announcement date. There's usually a few leaks by now and we have a pretty good idea of what we're getting. I've been impatiently waiting as well.

typically/historically....R model bikes are not loaded with graphics...in fact they have been somewhat subdued in the graphics dept. - i'm guessing here, but i think the nod in style/looks will stay with the Speciale paint and graphics - the R will probably be the same or close to same engine spec, possibly a tad more hp or torque given what the race team needs - just my guess

I think that this is going to be a more radical departure from their past formula. I too find it curious there have been no leaks
