I am really disappointed in this bike. In the past I owned a CBR500R and a CBR600RR. These 2 bikes never had any problems, now I bought the "premium" one and almost killed me...

My dealer wants to replace only the oil cooler and thats it. In my opinion the should change the rear tyre too, but...... I live in Hungary.......

I'd say he should pony up for a new tyre. Besides, that should be a warranty claim, not from his own pocket.

Yes, you are right, but in Hungary the dealers are polite until you paid the motorcycle... After that, they don't care about you...

The roadside assistance also didn't help me.

I already contacted an attorney in order to get my new rear tyre, the trailer costs and some compensation, because it SHOULD BE a high end product.

cant say too much at the moment, but you're not the first this has happened to.

When you look at the quality of the oil coolers, they are not the best and dare I say that Ducati seem to have cut corners on the production of this bike.

The dealer already ordered the oil cooler (super express), I hope they will give back the V4 as soon as possible... I don't feel good when it is not in my garage...

As we drained the oil (removed the drain plug and the filter) it was about 1,1 Liter in the bucket, so I hope the engine will not get any problmes in the future...
