Finally someone brings up a good point lol. If I had 40K and didn't already have a V4 I would buy one and track it.

I have a friend that has 1199SL, 1299SL & HP4 Race and isn't a racer but loves bikes and has the money. He also tracks all of them so they are not just for show.

The Bay Area can be a bit chilly this time of year. Maybe throw on some of those heated grips. Now that I think of it Iím wondering if they will have an anti-ice kit for the guys in the polar regions (anything outside SoCal, FL and HI) You get ice accumulation on the leading edge and well crap, there goes the wind tunnel numbers and you may not be able to control her. Could be ugly

This reminds me of this story an older tech told me about the C5 vettes. About how they were originally supposed to come with a spoiler to help with the rear end lifting at high speeds. The old corvette guys threw a big fit because vettes aren't supposed to have them and they redesigned the roof and rear end to provide some downforce without a spoiler. And now they have spoiler and wings and nobody is crying anymore. Change and innovation is good and inevitable.

I get it. I have a 2018 GLS 550 It has a sport mode which just re-maps the transmission and ECU and gives you a lovely 8mpg. It is pretty quick for a land yacht. It does however have paddle shifters. I have honestly never used them. I just don’t understand why they are there but Mercedes has decided that their van needs them as well. More offensive is the wife’s GLE 63. It has a sport + mode that gives you a popping exhaust on every shift. WTF that is for, I’m not sure. It now seems every car in Newport Beach has an obnoxious exhaust system from the factory and the drivers from mini van to Lambo feel the need to bang through the gears up and down at every opportunity. I guess I just don’t understand performance today

Hmmm. I thought it was the neutering or perhaps the occasional cross dressing but maybe it’s just age. Oh and I did just pass a Range Rover with an intake snorkel above the roofline 2 spare off road tires a giant jack and a shovel. It’s never seen a dirt road in its life. I bet he’s having fun though.

Now thatís funny!!! Lol... My wife has paddle shifters in her turbo Q5, I dought she knows they exist... But did I mention it has a Turbo lol.. Could you please point me in the direction or give me your best advice where to buy the comfy seat for my new R? Do you think I should go Rox phone holder or just use Bluetooth on the Race track? Canít wait to feel the difference the wings make from my last race bike, hopefully it equates to.5 - .7 seconds per lap.. Thoughts Ed?

Ok folks so I have done a little investigating here and it turns out that scotman623 is in fact a beast on 2 wheels so if anyone can get anything out of those "bat ears" he can. Let's wait for the data. Now if you get the BSD ignition delete you could probably get a heated cup holder and a nice phone mount in one spot. Im sourcing some genuine organic saskatchewan seal skin now for the seat complete with Komodo dragon belly skin inlay and a layered Koa wood seat tray. Should be epically comfy. I may put a wing on the back of the seat just in case. If Ducati chose to have the dealers install the "bat ears", they are for sure going to fall off.
