Hi Guys .. does anyone know where this little rubber plug lives ?? I found it loose and wedged between the upper fairing and the tank on the right side where the grommet connects to the fairing .. Iíve
not seen this on previous removal of the fairing ..

Thanks Macattack !! It’s actually solid and came from the right hand side
Do you have an exploded view of the right side ??
And more importantly have you a workshop manual I could purchase from you.

I do not have a manual sorry.

that is the right side of the bike and If I remember correctly there are two of these adapters on the quantity used on the bike. does not say where the other one is used .

the parts and owners manual are free to download from ducati on the Ducati website

Definitely mounts to the rear of the battery support, through the airbox lid. There are two of them in fact. They are a simple push fit. You will need to remove your tank however, to refit the one that fell out.

I'd imagine it's an access plug of some kind. There are two others on the airbox for balancing the throttle bodies as well, though they are quarter turn black plugs.
