V4 Insurance (HELP!)

Guys I need help really bad, does anyone live in GA? If you do, who do you have that insures your V4 Base model. There is no one that wants to insure this bike at all. I have been shopping most of the day and want to purchase my dream bike.

Please help!

I have Farmers right now and they won't even touch the bike.

I Ride: 2013 1199R, 2018 1299FE, & 2015 Panigale R (& 2 HDs)
I'm in GA and they cover all of my Panigales which are the R models through the 2018 1299R. No V4s (yet). I'm with State Farm but I've been with them a long time and have house and truck with them. I'm 63, great credit and driving history. They probably wouldn't do the bike alone but check......

The only downside of this bike is the insurance. I have a 2017 Porsche 911 C2s and the Ducati costs way more to insure even though the car costs a huge amount more to buy. Partly it is because I have a lot of insurance, but damn! And I am 62. Maybe I am getting old enough that my age is now a bad thing again. Ugh.

I would definitely try Geico.. They insure country wide and I never had a problem getting a bike insurance with them.. Unfortunately it has a lot to do with age of person and credit score now to get good rates... I’m 47 married with a house and several vehicles.. Best of luck my friend.

Alright guys I have some good news. So I did more shopping around last night and finally state farm gave me a decent quote. 154 a month for 6 months. Not bad but the best so far.

Yeah it is weird I have 2007 z06 and the insurance is cheaper i only pay 110 a month. 30 years old and you think it wouldn't be this bad.

Good luck to you guys if you do upgrade to a v4,because these insurance companies dont like them. Most of the insurance companies stated "it's to aggressive looking and goes to fast" lol

Thanks for the help though.

Funny how clueless they can be, trade my 2016 959 for a 2015 R and my insurance went down...go figure! Must be looking purely at model year not the extra 55HP and a bunch of Ti/CF!!!

Hard to compare with cars though, so many bikes are labeled “totaled” when in an accident just because OEM fairings are 1/3 the cost of on a used bike.
