I'd save the Kawi bash for a legit gripe. Ducati has been known for decades to politic rules in their favor. They finally build a bike thats legitimately on the pointy end without concessions and it's about time. Remember they were the initial complainers on the Rev limit when the Inlines and Aprilia we're spanking them. They also cried when the Kawi, Yam, BMW, and Aprilia were using variable independent intake tracks to control cylinder activation thus eliminating their Twin's low range grip advantage.

Honda certainly doesn't seem motivated by WSB. Sykes really struggled in Race 2 and I can't quote it correctly, but the BMW was down on top speed so every lap it lost tenths of a second down the front straight going into turn 1. At least that's what BMW reported. Ducati and Kawasaki looked like heat seeking missiles going into Turn 1. The top guys looked fearless into Turn 1 and it makes me wonder how much they are getting paid. I couldn't quite figure out Davies but he rode hard. Maybe he just doesn't gel with Phillip Island. It was a great race and I liked Race 2 better than Race 1. Peace.
