Congrats on the new purchase, mate!

It puts a huge smile on my face each time I start mine up and take it for a ride. Even walking past it in the garage makes me happy haha
Thanks from kramdrallim

After 10 days and 1200 km in shitty weather conditions in Belgium, the dealer did the first 1000 km maintenance. Now I'm ready to trespass the 6000 RPM as prescribed in the user manual. Today, I've put the motorbike in "SPORT" modus en went up to 8000 RPM. Wow, wow, wow. My R1 (model 2015) was already very fast, but this is incredible. I believe it is due to the fact that the transmission is quite different. AT 130 km/hr withe the R1 I was around 4000 RPM, with the V4 I'm at 5500 RPM. Also the double exhaust makes it "screaming".
The technician also installed the open clutch window, but for now, there is too much condensation inside to take a descent picture.

There shouldn't be condensation on the clutch cover, especially if you paid someone to do it...

I spoke at great length to my Ducati dealer and the extra 1500 k's is a waste of time if you have taken the first 1000 klm easy varying the speeds and no harsh acceleration then open her up I did.
I have nearly 8,900 klm on my V4S now and it runs like clock work fuel cons is getting better as the motor wears in.

Just hang on when you unleash the beast as it will certainly feel like the bike wants to tear you off the back.
My dealers 750 Duke pulled an 8.2 sec 260Kph 1/4 mile the other day it uses 2 litres of methanol to go that far and has 250BHP at the crank not bad for a turbo'ed 750 V twin.
Go Patto!
