US V4R restricted?

I had heard rumours the V4R would be restricted in the US. A video circulating Facebook shows a V4R on the dyno only making 200 rwbhp. Whats clear in the video is the full Akra is already installed on the bike. Thats a far cry from the 230 crank bhp Ducati have been pushing.

I Ride: V4 S Corse (ordered)
In Belgium it comes restricted to 100hp
And it is electronically limited to that as well by delivery. But the dealer gives in a code and you have full power.
This is more for taxes (full power is 2400 euro tax, 100hp is 123 euro )
On paper, the bike remains 100hp
This is the tax for putting the bike on the streets
You tell your insurance it is full power and you never have problems

The V4R in the link was brand new. 31 miles on the odo. Iíd guess it will gain 5-10 hp after itís had some miles on it.

I love the ONLY making 200 RWHP!!! From The crank to the rear wheel there is always a 10-15% loss of power, This bike is right where it should be for having only 31 miles on it...

Oy vey, come on folks...

Bike in the video dyno'ed 200 WHEEL hp. Ducati claims 230 CRANK hp with the Akrapovic exhaust system. Video verifies Ducati's numbers are pretty spot on after accounting for a 10-15% drivetrain loss.

Once the motor breaks in a bit, likely to see another couple ponies

Looks about right. As mentioned earlier, drivetrain partisitic loss is usually around 15%.

The 1299 crank horse power was 205 and mine put down 177 completely stock.

Are you required to buy a full akra to get the flash? I would want the flash but planned to buy slipons for using the stock exhaust on restricted noise tracks.
