Along the same line 650ib weighed V4R stock exhaust. Ducati says 425lb, scales said 438lbs. After Full Akra installed dropped to 418ish..

230 at the crank is about 200 at the wheel. This is not low. He will gain a few more ponies after the engine is broken in.

Exactly 3 people on this forum can ride the same bike a half second faster around a track when it has 10 or even 20 more HP, coming from, let’s say 190

Just saying.

The rest is bragging rights

Youíre probably right, and Iíd go even further to say that too much power slows you down. Too difficult to modulate.
I must admit though, where the average racer will make use of more power is on a track with loooooong straights.

I Ride: V4 Panigale Speciale / S1000RR
I still think my Speciale is top dog in terms of absolute BHP .. but I hear the R's have even more mid-range torque..

He's good to go of, he tells it how it is.

The rest is politics.

Well yeh lol.

My First trip to phillip island, my friend on his 250 was destroying guys on r6's etc who had no clue how to ride, obviously on the straight he was getting obliterated but once the turns started that was it.. But thats why you do a track day, to learn.
If people think buying a litre bike means you smoke everything on a circuit, well they're in for a rude wake up call.

Talent> everything else.

you do realize he also added BST carbon wheels, removed his clutch cover (its exposed), removed rear license plate fender etc... so it wasnt JUST exhaust in his weight savings
