Nice thing about this bike is we may be more tire choices for us more road-heavy V4 riders. I wonder if the akra pipes will get less expensive now that there are more bikes out there that can use it?

I adore your naivity

Nice bike, if it rides well, it might replace the good old K1300R
Thanks from Phl and spinkick

this looks great but the price is going to be very high especially if you put an exhaust on it.

Plus, it doesnt seem that much different than a v4 without the side panels.. What are we getting here? Maybe change so there is even more torque down low?

At this stage i don't know but there is strong competition in this sector from KTM, and MV and bang for your buck they are hard to beat and really very solid bikes i like the KTM's alot.

This is a cool bike from the "it looks badass" perspective, but that being said, I really don't understand the whole naked superbike thing from a practical riding perspective...
I rode a SF1098 about nine years ago. I loved the looks of the thing, and the power was incredible. But it was too powerful for it's lack of fairing and upright seating position! Once the power really came on in anything past second I was going so fast that my head threatened to part company from my body followed by my body from the aerodynamically challenged machine!
A naked with upright bars makes sense to me on a torquey two valve Monster where it's all about blasting from 90 degree urban corners before breaking hard for the next stop light..ie not really going very fast.
But it just seemed so unsuited to a bike with the power characteristics of a superbike. And that was a superbike from 12 years ago with 50 less hp than the insanely powerful Pani v4!

This is the prototype for Pikes Peak
I don't think the final version will have dry clutch, as this bike really is intended for the road
not to break your mood

Also interested to know how much the front fairing will change on the production model in order to integrate headlights, turn signals etc.
