so the winking german grew on me... but the new look is nice until you get up to it and noticed the decals on the bike are just that, stickers and they peel up lol (the test M at cota this year had the decals just peeling off from the heat of the sun and also the riders kicking it while lifting their legs over), for their premier bike, its a bit cheaply made... but, kept cost down.

Ducati isnt for everyone, and its clearly not the best bike on the market, nor is the BMW, but its a great time to have options and be able to pick. I prefer the V4R, i love it. Its hot as hell, but it rids like a 600 and loves to keep pulling. I wouldnt trade it for anything. only thing i hear about the M is the brake fade and the stiff no padding seat (and the TPMS acting up). But these are first world problems to say the least lol
I'll take little track brake fade and tpms problem vs. oil leaks that lead to fires and fuel leaks....Etc

Love my duc, but time to move onto something little less headache ish

this right here is the problem. i saw the bike in person and said to myself something is wrong here. things dont look polished. it may be the overall best package out there (bang for buck) but something is missing.

i wouldnt trade the hp4 for this even at an even swap nevermind add money for the new s1000rr. the carbon wheels are a great touch though

You are correct. This would fix this silly dumb issue on their premier bike... but if they do this on such a cheap fix, that will make it monumentally better.. what else did they skimp on? Just makes you think.

Honestly the hp4 is beautiful
I'm the exact opposite. I hate the look of the older S1k generation with the bugeye, r6 tail, and vents on vents on vents on the sides. imo the new bike is waaaay better. fixed every issue i had with the old model. Excited to see guys start to mod them. When guys start doing them one solid color it will definitely look beautiful.

I'm sad they got rid of the tail. The new tail looks terrible.
