Insuring a V4s

Whatís everyone paying for insurance for there V4S? I live in Melbourne and have been quoted $3700 by RACV and an astonishing $6700 from AAMI.
I have a feeling RACV it is but damm thatís a lot of money considering the bike will spend most of its time in the garage.

Ouch!

I'm in Perth WA, I pay $1,726 p.a. through Youi.

Youi adjust their rates based years of experience riding, drivers license points and how many days a week you use your bike to commute.

It's only insured for me, no one else is covered if they ride the bike.

Full comprehensive.

On my 1299, got quotes for $1800 then an Aon specialist bike division covered me for market value which is 25k, plus track days- $585. Think they're in Oz

Try Swann insurance.

My V4S was a bit over $2000 and I'm in Melbourne.
