This happened to my buddies new V4 Corse. Hed ride 34 miles then the dash would turn into a Christmas tree, all the electronics stopped working, suspension went solid, no working brake lights.

Dealer reset all the sensors but in another 34 miles or so it did it again.
The dealer was able to replicate the problem by taking a heat gun to the ecu. Once the ecu got hot, it did the same thing in the shop.

Ecu was replaced and all is finally good.
Thanks from youngR, HKMP7 and fosterelli

+1 on the RSV4. You could have bought a 2010 RSV4 for like 7k, saved 23k off the ducati and it would look the same as the new RSV4 and be way more reliable than a V4.

Jokes aside: it sucks that the bike has been in service so long...hopefully they will make it right for you.

I don’t really think they can make it right. I had my bike for 3 weeks during the summer, they have had it for 8. I lost the whole season, I can’t get that back

Not sure about the Lemon Law's where your from. But here in California, that's a rubber stamp Lemon Law buy back! Now that your ridding season is pretty much wrapped up, I'd look into getting 100% of your money back, and get a 2020 model. First year production models usually have a few bugs that need to be sorted out...... Just my 0.02
