V4 generating a lot of heat

Hi all this is my first post, I have just purchased a 2018 V4, I am mega happy with the bike and all is fine, however I have one question, I was aware that the V4 does generate a hot of heat but mine is pretty uncomfortable especially on my left thigh, I have heard of some fitting heat shields etc, what have others done to get over this or is it just grin and bear it, other than that I'm MEGA happy

My 2019 v4 has Akro 3/4 slip on bike runs 2 bars on heat gauge in 93 degrees even in stop and go, I don't use it to commute only weekends in the north GA mountains.....haven't found it to bother me at all....in fact I don't even notice it.

Maybe the 3/4 slip on has made it run a little cooler.....the bread box that it comes with holds a ton of heat

I'm not finding it is a problem caused by the exhaust, I'm only finding it an issue against my left thigh which is next to the top of the engine / faring, ill just have to live with it, I'm loving the bike and have no other issues, I just posted to see if anyone had a work around for it as I'm new to the V4

Interesting, I feel the heat on my right thigh and hamstring. The heat dissipates when either I adjust my position and/or get from behind a larger vehicle.

I removed all the sound insulation from inside my fairings, removed the rear cylinder covers, and trimmed the charcoal canister bracket on the right side, all in order to move more air and optimize engine cooling.
