V4R exhaust yes or no??

I had a Speciale and the akra sounded awesome , I just got a V4R and want to track it more than the Speciale. Unfortunately many tracks have noise restrictions, so my question is for those who have ridden the v4r on track with stock exhaust and with aftermarket exhaust is the change really that noticeable in lap times or are is it just making more noise and not a lot of payback for performance. Thanks

The difference in horsepower is substantial. So is the price. Without the exhaust, you really don't capitalize on the potential. I don't have one, but I don't think I've seen anyone here that bought a V4R without springing for the exhaust.

How's your 2020 S1000RR? Still waiting for mine to arrive.

I rode the new S1000RR at the ridge for 2 days last month , itís a typical German Bike /car , feels the same as the old model but slightly better, mine just arrived but I havenít picked it up yet. Donít expect your mind to be blown, the bike is better but not world changing. Iím glad I didnít get the carbon wheels as people kept cracking them on track without even crashing, run over a curb , crack!

I Ride: 2017 Panigale 1299s Anniversario, 2008 Desmosedici, 2014 BMW S1000r, 2018 Panigale V4.
QD exhaust is homologated for street, I am using that without the cats. Comes with dB killers 98/99db, 105db without dB. Passes most noise restriction here in Europe. 212rwhp.

I doubt I'll track the 2020 S1000RR. If I track anything, it will likely be the R1M first and then the V4S. Honestly, I'm content to be lazy on the weekends. Mine has the M package, so I'll keep a close watch on the wheels, which I'd already heard about. Thanks for the feedback.

If youíre looking to track your V4R at Calabogie. I have a solution for the Akras that passed within 1db of the limit.

We made some custom baffles packed with fibre glass. Install them for soundcheck then replace with the wimpy akrapovic dB killers so if anyone looks in the cans itís not immediately obvious if anyone reinspects

How much time does that take? Who made them? I thought they run sound check all day too and will kick you out if you go over during the day
