Corse Paint Wear on Tank

I have a 2019 Corse and just took it in to the shop for the 600 mile service. I pointed out that while the bike mechanically is running fine, I have noticed a half-dollar sized paint wear on the right side of the tank. It looks to be where my knee comes in contact with the tank. Itís very difficult to see unless you lean down and it hits the light from a low angle. However, itís not a small spot and Iím concerned about what this will grow into as time goes on given how few miles are on it. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is funny to see this thread today, I was just in the dealer this weekend and asked them how the flat paint was holding up, they said they hadn't seen any premature wear, but they hadnt sold a lot of them. I had flat paint on a race bike a few years ago and WILL NOT do that again, its a pain to keep clean and EVERY spec of oil, grease, residue sticks to it. I am fully expecting to see threads in the future about the flat paint wear.

Your best corse of action "pun intended" could be to do matte clear bra on the tank if you dont want to do stomp grip. Matte paint is full of hills and valleys as you continue to contact it the paint will level out and become shiny.

I love this paint scheme, but can't bring myself to pay $$ more for the paint knowing that to really not have paint problems, one would have to matte clear wrap the whole bike. This makes it a pretty expensive upgrade from the straight red.

Certainly not the best wrap, but it has definitely helped in preventing any issues with paint rubbing off.

Tank pads were EAZI Grip PRO which went on way better than the R&G clears.

you will have to put them on a filehosting site (like imgur.com)
and then add the link in here.

sorry, the forum picture capacity has been throttled and there is no way to resolve that right now.

hosting on imgbb and using their embedded "BBcode" medium format to link. Works out real well.
