2019 vs 2020 V4R

I see a number of 2020 V4R's at dealers. Does anyone know if there have been any minor updates/fixes? Just recall issues sorted?

Not sure, the presentation yesterday about SF and v4s seems very similar v4r

MY20 v4s has MY19 V4Rís vent, winglet and chassis.

I am betting MY20 V4R is going to have some experimental things (perhaps from SBK) to demonstrate a flagship of this brand.

There doesnt seem to be any obvious visual difference between the years, but wondering if any small fixes under the covers...

I Ride: 2015 1199R
Youíd have to check the reveal footage (at or near the 50min mark)...I think Claudio spoke about a suspension softening for the v4r amongst other variables that needed improvement albeit that only professional riders or Ducati test riders found might feel

Interesting, thanks. Sounds like a number of updates to suspension and chassis setup for the V4/S for sure. But makes me wonder if the 2020 V4R didn't get the same updates, or if the 2020's I'm seeing at dealers are actually just late production 2019's. Seems odd on the timing of the world event announcement and going over updates, even when 2020 V4R's are already in dealers.

I agree, different level of riders with prioritize what is useful. That said, when I had the opportunity to step into two generations of BMW S1KRR, I understood why they soften up 2nd gen. The mid corner compliance through chassis tuning is far beyond my comprehension, but I can feel the comfort of that tuned chassis and perhaps only helps in certain style of track , but it is a progress they have made. Iím feeling itís the same for v4(MY20), having that hole (V4R MY 19) gave some chassis Rigidity away and that feed back isnít as strong to influence bar input.
