I Ride: Panigale R
Since they created the V2 Panigale which now looks like a normal V4 Panigale, I'm sure they felt this would differentiate the two models. Not caring about how V4R owners feel since they are such a small niche group.

Sad to see the Twin take on the ugly front end of the V4. When it comes to looks Ducati has missed the mark on the V4 IMO... thus not even considering buying one.

Otherwise seems pretty much status quo from Ducati and how all the R stuff trickles down in 1-2 years to the S model.

No dry clutch, new body work, frame and updated electronics. I guess in theory you could add all of those to the 18/19 bikes. I will probably add the body work for track use.

Not a fan of the R fairings. Glad I got my 19.

nice improvements and you can see the trickle down effect, i understand some 2019 owners of the r and S being upset but good it's more than just another paint job. the 2020 R model should be interesting.

Can’t deny it, I am a little jealous of the new model. Not enough to trade my 2018 in though.

Yes, I should just remove them and fill the ugly gap left behind with those sweet carbon block off plates that Ducati so gracefully provides. Oh wait...

It's actually a pretty useless point. Have you seen what the fairings look like with the wings removed? There is a large gap where the wings mount and there are some major holes left behind. If Ducati supplied a block off plate (I've asked for this for over a year) then it would be an awesome and valid point and no issue at all in my mind. Instead you either live with the wings or live with a big that looks unfinished. So I would rather live with neither and Ducati doesn't care as there are plenty of people enamored with the wings that my business isn't missed at all.
