I Ride: Panigale V4S
Not a fan of the new move personally. I like the idea as an option, but not as a given. May help to hold the value of the older 'non winged' models

From the videos the wings seems to be made of black plastic. Is that right?

Wings on the R are made of carbon fiber?

They have.

I Ride: v4r, 1299s & CRF450x
Had a v4s last year, traded into v4r this year and have done nearly 5k on it.

The v4r is a truly epic bit of kit! the aero really does work, everyone that gets to ride v4r or 2020 v4s with the wings on are in for a treat! Wings really are a thing when you are pressing on! Said it before a few times but it feels like you a have a permanent dab of back brake on! The cooling is massively improved too! If the ambient temp is below around 12C the bike cools itself down enough to kick in the virtual rev limiter!

Nice video and nice riding. I Read on the ducati uk forum you were going to start using Rosso Corsa II tires correct? How are those holding up on the V4R?

I Ride: 2018 V4S, 2012 1199
I love the look of the R with the wide fairing and the wings, but owning my 2018 V4S for just over one year (1 year and 1 month) and already there is a complete redesign, i feel robbed.

With the 1199-1299 there was a time where i had a few years of ownership before the facelift...and even then i was still happy with my 1199 because the facelift was minor in my eyes.

Now i have a 1 year old bike that looks dated because it doesn't have widebody and canards (car speak).

In my opinion they should have waited a year or two before doing it... why cant they be more like Aprilia and release the same looking bike for 10 years straight? 2020 should have been new color schemes...black, white, and maybe another color for the V4.

The new V2 on the other hand....that's the star of the show for me. 959 engine, SSS, color LCD display (FINALLY!), and V4 looks...that's perfection right there. Note the guys selling parts for the 1199, 1299, 959, and 899 cant call their bikes the V2 anymore :haha:

Now if only they could sell V4 with a 1000cc engine so I could do some amateur racing in the future isn't of either running an open type class or fork out 20k more for the engine : /

Also somebody said this earlier, but the 1299 front is hot garbage compared to the V4's front which is less aesthetically pleasing than the 1199's front (only just by a little).
