There is a plug-in that you can purchase to get ride of the error. Check out Ducati Omaha site.

You should only need the plug for disconnecting the rear brake light. I've disconnected the front headlights and no errors. Note the Ducati plug kit is only the rear brake light and the kickstand switch.

I disconnected the rear but got no error. But this is without starting the engine.

Would be ok to have the error and still ride? Im looking to have the bike ready for a coming trackday and would like to take out the rear light.

I have the headlight and taillight disconnected with no errors.
I used this plug: 96510961A - Panigale V4 Rear Brake Light Plug

Now, has anyone successfully removed their headlights, to replace it with the race fairing blank headlight? I just spent considerable time and effort to try this, had to give up before I broke something. The headlight just did not want to slide out. I removed 4 screws. What's the trick??? Thanks.

There are two bolts which fix the headlight to the front subframe and in addition four little torx head screws that connect it to the air conveyor. Are you sure you’ve removed all four of these little screws? Two of them are easy to locate but the other two are tucked away and very difficult to see, let alone remove.

Once I’d removed all 6 fasteners, as well as the electrical connector, the headlight itself slid out with no resistance.

Hope this helps, James.
Thanks from Fry

Thanks Jamessd! I only removed two of the tiny Torx screws (the ones on the left and right). But I think I've located the other two (rear facing), and will try again if I can find the right tools to get at them. Thanks again, your response was very helpful.
