Club Motosports Tamworth New Hampshire

Good afternoon everyone,

Message is more for the ones who track/race and do track days.
Calling/Inviting all those who live within reason to Club Motosports in Tamworth, NH

For those who know, KNOW - This is one of the sexiest track ever made. If you get the opportunity to come or go, go.

Track days are rendered exclusively through Fishtail Riding school, this years dates are June 10th and 11th. Tickets are pricey but well worth it. $680 for both days or you can select one for $380 which I believe is the 10th, the 11th is $340.

Come one come all it will be a blast!!

Mr. Kani just sent me a text on this, looks amazing and we are working out a road trip. Start doing your sunny day dance to keel the clouds away that week!

Funny you said that JC, if Palmer had a mid-week date I would add it to the list and make a week of it. Already had a double planned at NYST on the 16/17th so it would've been perfect.

Tickets might not sell out as fast as you think, they are charging a pretty penny for a track day. Karl, the hike from NYST to Club Motorsports is not a short stint , I believe it is close to 5.5 Hrs, add in gas breaks , bathroom and eating. Karl have you ever ran Loudon? Eric teaches the advanced class. The other instructors are also very knowledgeable.

Karl is negotiating days off then we'll know the plan if it is one or two days at NH.

He's got a pretty trick 959 that is converted to pure track, I just left a 959 and bought a 2015 R this winter, zero seat time yet, just playing with my DTC/DWC settings all winter.

Seeing you have the same bike, how do your tires stand up? Intermediate rider here and on the 959 I could get a solid 4 track days out of the Supercorsa SP (running warmers). I imagine the R is gonna put a lot more stress on the rear.

Gonna be at NYST 5/11 then next track day would be Tamworth. Got a set of slicks sitting in the garage but didn't want to put them on until July's super hot and sticky weather, when I leave the street and just do track time.

Too Funny, I rode a 959 for 2017 and 18. I exchanged mine in November for a 15R. I have 0 seat time on mine as well. I found mine brand new, leftover. She has .1 Miles on her....... sexy beast she is
I can say I ran my Final Edition last year for a few sessions, not even days and its a heavy hitter on the rear tire. Why did you get slicks? What if it rains or the track is slightly damp?
I might put slicks on the FE , because she only sees nothing but supreme conditions and is only on a track on special occasions.
Anyways congrats on the new bike, I am really psyched to have the R as my track weapon, I am sure it will be a great bonding experience.
