helmets and glasses

i tried doing a search didn't quite find what i was looking for. Just wondering what helmets people with glasses were using or what ones are glasses friendly i guess. i have an Arai quatum/f fits a bit older works good with the glasses but could be a bit more oval shape head and an Icon domain 2 sucks i cant even get them in but the head shape is good.

The helmet im looking at is a shoei RF-1100 was wondering if anyone with glasses is using it. The glasses are a new problem got them over winter and it didnt hit me till i got the bike home last night a went to take for a spin all i can say is the bike if fucking awsome. leaps and bounds better the my 07 GSX-R 1k in so many ways. now i just need to be able to see while i ride lol. oh and no contacts are not an option.

My glasses fit really well in the Shoei GT Air.

Do not buy an Arai Vector 2 if you need to wear any kind of glasses. Nice helmet but that alone was enough for me to switch to an AGV Horizon. It has built-in flip-down sunglasses so no worries trying to fit sunglasses. Just for you I tried wearing my prescription Oakleys (straight wire stems) and they won't fit while wearing the helmet-not even close. But I don't need them to ride.

I've got a rf1100 and wear glasses. Don't have any problems with it or my glasses. Or my sunglasses if I wear my contacts.

Oakley sunglasses, both minute (smaller size) and fives squared with rf-1100. Fit like a glove for me...

I'm now rockin the Schuberth SR1 (Technology) and the material they use around the side of the eyes is much softer than the rest of the padding. This was designed for the exact reason you are questioning. The ablilty to comfortably put on,wear, and remove glasses (sun or eye). So even though the SR1 is a very snug fit, it accommodates my sunglasses way better than my Shoei RF1100, and way more comfortably as well. Just my observation

thanx for the reply i guess next weekend ill go out try a couple of those brands. i tried an arai rx-q and the shape was a pretty good fit but didnt think to try put on my glasses was just surprised at how much lighter it was then my old arai my wife got one and she can put on her glasses fine. I just really like the Shoei RF-1100 Diabolic Feud also my glasses are wire frame and thats also not helping.

I Ride: Panigale S
Shoei X12 with Oakleys
I think the important part is, get glasses with straight arms, no hooked ends
Could wear this setup all day, very comfortable

I bought a Shark Speed R which has cutout provisions for those who wear glasses. I am surprised that more manufacturers aren't incorporating it into their design. It is a really simple concept and works great.
