I can use some help.

I had my wheels painted on 2016 Panigale 1299. I polished the front wheel where the rotors bolt on. It is super clean bear metal. The problem is when I tighten the bolts on the break calipers the front wheel locks up wont move.

WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR:
Wheel is polished for flush rotor mount
Bearings seated correctly (check by mechanic)
I have a print out of the font wheel parts for mounting
Spacers in right place, axle travels good through wheel and bearings
Calipers line up perfect to break rotors. (no forcing to line up)
Removed fluid reservoir cap and compressed pistons on both calipers

As i tighten calibers by hand with out torque the wheel just locks up. I been over and over this and at the point of getting the bike towed to the Dealer for service.

Any suggestions would be great ??

Sounds like the spacers between the calipers and the fork bottom have been left out ??

Does anyone know why my front brake pads are making a loud click when releasing the lever when i am pushing the bike backwards? I have just installed a set of EBC FA447HH pads on my 1199. The bike rides normally and brakes properly when moving forward but when being pushed backwards like in reversing down a hill when I release the brake lever the pads seem to make a loud click in the caliper? This can only be heard with the engine off and the bike not running. When the bike is running I cant hear the noise.

Thanks for the reply, That is what I have been thinking but I have had them in and out about ten times trying to stop this noise and I can't see any way of installing them other than the way I have them in?

I just installed a new set of EBC Double Hs and they came in staggered. You cannot have only the wider (or narrow) part of the pads both on the bottom or on top. You can’t even intentionally do them this way. The wider part only goes on the bottom on the left half of the caliper on both sides.
