It's more convenience for tight down the bike while transporting to/from track that's all
Thanks from RRnold and Steveo

I don't want Pitbull trailer restraint install on my truck bed since I use my truck for other purposes and it's in the way if I have on it. This is another way to tight the back down that's all.

what track do you go to that allows passenger pegs AND a tag while tracking the bike?? and if they do allow it, why would you want it?

I have the sato hooks and do not use them. I do not like to put any extra tension on the suspension then i have to and these hooks do just that. If you dont want the Pittbull system, just strap the rear tire down, this way the bike can flex when you hit a bump and you wont have to worry about the back bouncing.

I actually do tow my bike to other events or locations not related to the track. Like many said its a huge aid if you have to tow your bike for any reason. One perfect example if you are broken down on the side of the road due to mechanical failure. Its nice to have that part already installed not having to remove a bunch of other items. The pit bull system is nice though . dc

i guess i prefer to just ride said bike to events or locations if its not track days... whats the point of owning a bike if its just a trailer queen. but to each their own.

As as i said, sato hooks add stress to the rear shock when its compressed and not letting the bike flex when in a stand isnt the best, hence the pit bull system, or just strap the back tire... just giving you other options also rather the sato hooks

Exactly

I was referring to my situ. I have double cab shortbed Tacoma with 2 bikes in the bed. There isn't any room for a Baxley only a small chock. Even with 1 bike in the bed, 2 tie downs doesn't secure it was well as 4 tie downs.

Before the Sato hook, I was using the rearsets but that didn't give enough leverage.
