First 1199 How-To: Air Filter replacement

Looks easy enough:
FITTING SPRINT FILTER P08 AIR FILTER DUCATI 1199 PANIGALE-Media.m4v - YouTube

Unbolt tank, pop off quick disconnect. Then remove fuel injection hoses and such, pull air filter out, replace and reassemble.
Thanks from Cobra700 and jock39racer

Overall, much easier than on the 1198.

Easy is a relative term I guess!!

I don't see much point either. The factory hasn't bothered with a free-flow filter in the exhaust kits and the maps are not going to be setup for one.

that's not true, i ordered the termi's here in holland (slip on silencers) and it wil include the silencers+Key up mapping(USB) + High flow Airfilter (from ducati included) with the kit.

Ducati don't mention any HF air filter - not on website exhaust pages and not in the accessory pages of the 1199 hardback book.

I appreciate there is always a possibility that specifications have changed, so I guess we'll see what we see.

Actually, I recall that MAX299 already collected his term slip-ons, so maybe he can verify whats in the box.

Over to you Max......

Regardless of whether or not anyone wants to replace the filter with a high flow one, they're still a wear/tear item that needs to be replaced when the miles pile up. I think the video shows how easy it is to access/work on the 1199 (at least under the tank), which will either translate to less $$$ paid to dealer or less skin scraped off the knuckles.
