I think I was one of the first adopters of the RB module from Yaman and it has been a great product. Since I had it installed, I've haven't had an issue with surging and the bike delivers smooth power delivery. I had mine installed at my dealer and the tech called me and told me that I received a bump in HP across the power and and 7hp up top. That's was with stock exhaust and RB module only. I've since added the Termi slip ons and I cannot wait to see how the bike has been transformed. I'm a pretty big guy 6'0, 240lbs. and I have no problem pulling on other manufactures on the track.

I'm a bit confused as to why you'd have to buy "additional" parts or sensor's for the "quickshifter" that already came with the bike...

Can you shed some light as to why that is?

My assumption is that this module interferes with the stock quickshift function - which is common amongst some fueling solutions (Which is why you'll see options to add that 'feature' back in when buying these).

I haven't used RB, or PCV, or any other solution yet as my bike is wholly stock, but from my research in looking ahead to change my exhaust that's what I've been able to come up with.

Ofcourse,
The reason for the RB QS on panigale could be :
One of the option if you should switch to reverse shift pattern, rotating the shifter knuckle will enable you to operate with reverse shift pattern but you will loose your electronic factory QS capability as your factory sensor only works one way.
Unless, you have purchased an aftermarket rear sets which will allow you to keep your factory sensor.
RB QS gives you a great range of adjustments and works both ways.

NO, RapidBike does not interfere with any of the electronics at all. including QS function.

I Ride: 2014 Panigale R (sold)
not being facetious here, but the bike should come stock with RB or it's equivalent; i have adapted to the surging at around 5k rpm and general rough fueling from 0-5k....but now that i am acclimatized to this "character" i feel foolish spending for proper fuel delivery that should come from factory....and mind you i am running the race termi fueling...

i am sure RB is well worth it, especially prior to taking delivery of your pani...as my mechanic said, "the bike doesn't like to live around 5k," which is yet another excuse for poor execution....

my 2 centz...

I have used and tuned a microtec ECU on my 1098 and it is the bomb!!! but to get the most out, it needs to be tuned and has to be in right hands for tuning purposes. It does a lot more than an average person will ever need. Still no auto tune function unless additional modules purchased and I think they are only log boxes to tune the bike not for constant use.

Well , I think it is called politics, of course they can make a bike run much better right out of the box, just like they can install a better exhaust system, better air filter and such....
I also agree that you think you shouldn't have to spend more money to make it run better when you already have spent thousands, but as long as we are buying a street legal motorcycle with lights and a horn, I don't think it is going to get better.....
Thanks from VAST
