Akrapovic vs DP Akrapovic

Is there a difference between the standard akra system and ducati branded akra system? The only difference I can see is the $1000 price difference.

The price tag and the evo doesn't come with an up map but also doesn't need it.

See above answer. Mine is too. When the dealer installed the Evo the compared it to the DP one. Exactly the same.

Don't forget the DP comes with the double penetration logo alongside the price. Makes it worth the extra cost, says Mr. Arsehammer.

I had the EVO system on my 2014 R. Looked and sounded amazing, no problems or issue with it but I was using the full Termi up-map. However, Akra themselves assured me you don't need the up-map.

Good Ol'd Ducati, Putting there name onto something, makes them think, right - now its got our name on it, we can charge a shit load more for it. (A.K.A. "Ducati Tax 1")

Akrapovic appear to have the same mind set when it comes to exhaust systems they make for the ducati. (A.K.A. "Ducati Tax 2")

Akrapovic,
"AH, Ducati- That will be double the price then, then Ducati themselves jump in and think,

"Wait,
Heres a great idea, we make more money and it costs us nothing(lol), lets put ducati on it and BOOM, we make EVEN more money out of it and we haven't even done any work, so, so easy.
