Front Stand OR Center "Shop"stand? Which do you prefer?

hello all

I am at a cross roads. I need a stand (front or centerZ) to remove front wheel, do regular maintanence and can't decide if I should get another Front Pit-bull stand (to match the rear swing arm stand) or get one of those trick center stands that lift the bike up from the "frame" and allow you to rotate, move, service the bike.

I know that the center stand is a bit more money, and I already have the rear pit-bull which, when matched with a front stand, will allow me to do most of regular maintenance. That said, the center shop lift-stand seems like avery interesting idea and will save space as well as allow me to do almost everything I want (or am capable of) using just one stand..

What do you guys say?

Any arguments against the center lift-stand?

Can you share which one you are using and would you recommend it?

Thank you

Center bike lift for Panigale? Never seen one, can you hook up a link?

You can front suspension and rear suspension at home with center lift.

I use the bursig center stand. I love it! I can move the bike very easily around my garage and I love having one stand to keep both tires off the ground. I've only done oil changes with the stand so far. Pretty straight forward. I also love using it at the track. One stand to deal with for both tire warmers.

off topic, just an observation, how you take the tires off without taking off the front calipers?

You can't.

I had the dealer mount new tires on some 1199s wheels I bought and didn't want the calipers hanging, so I just put the bolts back in and gave them a couple of turn by hand to hold them. I was sweeping out the garage and the light just caught the bike right. Had to take a few pics.

With the Pitbull front stand, does it raise the bike enough to get the front tire/wheel out without removing the front fender?

With the Ducati front stand, the front of the bike isn't high enough to get the tire/wheel out without removing the fender. I don't get why they built it that way.

I use double pitbull stands and have no issues getting the front wheel off. Have never removed the fender.

If you have T-rex frame sliders installed, I don't believe you will be able to use the Center lift stand.
