You have a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake side. And yes, leaking valves are vacuum leaks too.

Antihero had this with his bike, they rebuilt his engine but still was there. He ended up trading it in, the dealership after awhile found the issue but unfortunately haven't said what it was.

How in the world does a vacuum leak happen out of the blue? Also how can one test for that? It ran perfectly,now it doesn't. I'm still hoping it's the fuel system or throttle bodies.

Ok so just got back from the dealer after test riding my bike and them swapping the whole gas tank of a new 1299. Well,it wasn't a quick fix,unfortunately! I had high hopes that my full throttle power would be back. It felt stronger all around,but still lean w no "pop" when up shifting. Kinda a tell tale sign things are back to normal. I still think there is a fuel issue. Be it a clogged/intermittent injector issue, or an issue with the 02 sensors,or vacuum leak. It just feels lean below 5k rpm for sure.. like 25% and below throttle doesn't exist at all. Then it pulls hard from 25%-50%.. feels harder than full throttle!! So annoying!

So back to see what Ducati wants them to do.. they gonna try to get Ducati to change spark plugs and add injector cleaner. They also said (dealer) that upmap key can't be reused so no point in putting stock map back then choosing up map again after..
