tyres

what do you guys pay to change your tyres? I personally do my best to get the best price and get those rebates and you save a bunch only to have the stealership charge you an arm and a leg to change them because you didnt buy it from them. on top of that you have to bring them the tyres off the bike.

my old track org had free tire service if you joined at a certain membership. i dont think they have that at my new track. well at least one org doesnt.

what a fair price when you bring the tires off the bike and if you just bring them the bike.

$80 a set. Bring the bike to the shop. As quick as they do it, they should charge like $20, even if their shop rate is $120/hr. I don't mess with removing wheels n such. I paid $160 for my set of Bridgestone S21's so I figure $240 all in is a great price for oem size tires.

Most places in my area offer free mount and balance if you buy the tires from them. You’ll pay a few more bucks for the tires vs online but it’s a wash after you figure the free labor. Call around, surely someone in our area does the same.

I Ride: Anything with 2 wheels!
$70 at a local non Ducati motorcycle shop or $20 a piece at the track. Both with the wheels off the bike.

It's about $70-$90 depending on where you go.

Most places will do it for much cheaper if you can remove your wheels at home and bring just the wheels/tires.

I luckily have a friend with a tire changer in his garage so it only costs me a six pack of wobbly pops!
