Hi,
I don't have any other dewalt products so don't have a battery and charger. Are all 20v dewalt batteries compatible?
Don't want to buy from all over and finish up with a bad unusable mix

John, depends on model of the battery some can be use with other Dewalt tools. You should contact Dewalt for 100% sure. But there is x2 battery for this Impact Wrench at Amazon on sale for under 150

That's a nice tool. The battery gives you nice flexibility when you are not near AC power and need to get the rear wheel off.

I've toy'ed with the idea of getting one of these, but I have no other use for it beyond removing the rear wheel nut.

I also have a box of dead batteries from other cordless tools, some Dewalt, Ruobi and Makita, the replacements can get expensive.

I've been using one of these for the past 10+ years, on my 996, 109, 1299 and Multistrada, plus lots of friend other Ducati's.

My Harbor Freight $50 one works like a charm.... I've used it a bunch of times to change tires and/or sprockets and chains
