the 1299 it was changed. thats why i made the comment now it looks like it was changed back.

ill be waiting a long time. i bet you never even took them off before.
Yeah I'm literate. Guess you're not. Why don't you show me how hard it is. 2 screws and a connector. I wanna see a video of you screwing that up so badly it takes more than 10 minutes. I'm asking you to do the exact same thing you asked, but somehow I'm the dumbass. OK.

This is my bike at the track. So yeah, I've taken the mirrors off. And put them back on. I don't go to the dealer for every little thing.

Obviously you never put the mirrors back on first the screws are a pain in the ass cause the mirror has to sit perfect. Second the wire unless u rig in some other way that was intended which u probably do is suppose to go inside the mirror housing so your the only one in this entire forum that never had a problem with the mirrors so congrats to you. To everyone else you know the mirrors are a pain in the ass. And so does this clown cause he won't post the video cause he can't

I have not replaced my windscreen since right after I got my bike nearly five years ago, but I agree it's a pain in the ass. And I'm a pretty good back yard mechanic.

No shit dumbass. Mirrors don't go on race fairings.

Take mirrors off, two whole screws per mirror. Disconnect mirror. Push the connector back down between the fairing stay and the black plastic that covers it. If you'd actually had the fairings off you'd know there's plenty of room to do this. Mount race fairings and go to the track. When you switch it back (which I do, because I ride street and track) then all you need to do is use tweezers to recover the connector, plug it in and tighten two screws. It's not hard.

Still waiting on your video showing me how you can fuck this up for more than 10 minutes per mirror.

It is a bit of a pain to arrange the connector and wire the way they came from the factory. If you donít do that I could see it taking less than 10 min (more like 3 min).
