I ordered the new AFAM QC for the front sprocket, now I am really covered for any changes.

I'll be changing my rear sprocket for the 41 with 525 chain and 15 in the front.
I know the new chain will need to be cut to length. Anyone with this combination can tell me how many links in his chain ???

Thanks !!!

Buy at least the 110 link chain and let your dealer cut it appropriately.

Thanks Gunny.

I am planning to do the job myself, hence the question of how many links.

Getting specs for you based on my 15/40 set up and you take it from there.

Hey guys, found out from the dealer the deal with the new "sprocket map". It does nothing for fueling, it is in reference to new TCS/ABS parameters for the increased sprocket size.

Going to get it done regardless and be careful. I've never run without race mode, so rear wheel ABS is a none-issue. TCS, maybe a lil' rarely kicks in.

My dealer was a little leary about the Aluminum sprocket... Understandably, but my race bike has an AL and it's fine. Thinking about ordering a SS one just in case it gets chewed up really fast. Thoughts?

Decided no SS for now.

Sag

Just remember when making your wheelbase longer you may need to have a look at your sag and make some adjustments .
Thanks from SeerreuS
