Different weight of sprockets

Anybody knows the difference in weight of the AFAM alloy vs the AFAM superlight steel ?

It's significant, thus why I went AL with AFAM. If you go to motowheels.com they have weights on there.

Thanks I was looking at the shipping weight and it was the same. But I see that you save a pound between the 2

Yeah, I was set on steel until I saw the 1LB difference and the EVR3 is a better chain anyway.

Just installed them too!

Any feedback on the strength and reliability of the evr3 chains compared to the usual DID X rings?

Best chain on the market have one on my rc8r in 520 Al rear, 600 track miles later no issues still good. 520 on my old cbr too, 5000 miles still good when I sold it.

I heard from many racers and suppliers saying they prefer the EVR3 compared to the ZVM-X. It's a lighter/better chain. One supplier said they run them on there 240hp racebike with no issues. I really like the look of the steel sprocket over the Alloy. but I wanted this rs corse hub carrier with titanium hardware that is lighter and stronger than the AFAM carrier, but kind of defies the point if I buy a 1lbs heavier sprocket. I will probably go with the SUPERSPROX. the supplier was recomending 15/42 gearing.

Hmm a 42, I know putting my 41 on barely fit. Maybe I'll grab one and try it out, the benefits of a qc.

Looks really ought to be secondary, form follows function.

Here we go again with two items being the best viewed in different eyes. Another opinion thread. Dare we create a poll on who uses what chain? Perhaps ill start one and vast my vote for the DID being #1.

Uh, they are both DID I went with the ZVM - the 2 are practically indentical. The EVR3 is just a few ounces lighter, just a hair less strength and wear resistance then the ZVM.
