Slipper clutch

I was wondering if someone might be able to post some pictures of the 1199 slipper clutch? I was wondering how Ducati has designed the slipper function, is it like the R6's with a ramp or like the Yoyodyne / STM with ball bearings on ramps? Also, is it tunable? Iím aware that the Ducati EBC, (engine brake control) is something completely different and adjusts the throttle opening only.

Ducati also claims to have an increased force on the clutch in the forward direction due to centrifugal force which is why they can get away with only 3 springs, just wondering how that is accomplished as well.

I have looked at the parts diagram from Ducati Omaha:
Ducati Omaha - Ducati OEM Parts Ordering System - Parts Fiche
and there appears to be a lot of detail missing, page 18.

I also looked at the engine teardown pics:
Ducati Indianapolis Panigale Engine Teardown - cadre-club's Photos
and it appears that they are using some kind of ramp style but canít tell for sure, pic #16

Good questions. I am not really interested in how the entire things works per se, but knowing how they developed it is useful. I will say that when I first experienced these on my 748R back in the day I absolutely loved the idea of going from wide open in 6th, down to 1st or 2nd under immense speed without being thrown over the tank!

The only thing which sucked back then was working this type of clutch on starts with all the chatter and ratchet type feedback given thru the clutch lever. Things have come a long way since then with this new one which I find much easier to use off the line.
Thanks from reracingjp
