1199s electric/ tps problem

Having some issues with my 1199s 2012, It stalls on idle and shuts down one cylinder in low rpm at 1500-2000rpm. I think IT is the TPS that has to change, i hade the bike connected at a dealershop to check the TPS and everthing seamed ok. does any one else had this problems?

There's is a seems to be a common problem with the connector at the ECU building corrosion, that actually starts at the main ground from the battery to the engine block, try to clean all the connections first, then test if problem still there just replace the TPS at $65.00 from http://ca-cycleworks.com I have had the same problem with couple of ducs 2013 streetfighter and 2015. 1299s, and replacing the TPS has fix the issues for me. Attached a picture of the old TPS and a test sheet of the new one.

You had your bike at the dealership, and I assume that you had it there for the reason youíve mentioned in this thread. Why didnít you have them service the bike? Donít replace a TPS unless you can confirm that itís faulty. You may want to investigate other possibilities since the diagnostics didnít seem to confirm your original suspicions. Additionally, the TPS shown in this thread is not for an 1199. The throttle position sensors for the 1199 are not meant to be replaced separately, and other than pre-owned units found on Ebay (or the like), youíre not likely to find one. If you can determine beyond any doubt that you have a faulty TPS, the two most viable options would then be: 1) Install a new throttle body, which comes complete with the TPS and ETV motor, but will cost over $1400.00, orÖ 2) Purchase a pair of pre-owned throttle bodies. They can usually be found for less than $150.00. Even if the TPS was sold separately, the throttle body would have to be removed to be replaced.
