Hey, youíre back. Sorry to hear about the unfortunate events with the 4. I was really looking forward to some feedback. I donít know anyone else running that platform in a current series. Shoot me a PM. I have a bit of 411 on the clutch.

Although not surprising, this is a bummer. Great job on your persistence! I was considering racing mine here at CVMA but will probably still with my other bike.

I have the same problem with my V4R with leaking oil. Looks like the gasket will have to be ordered from Italy so still waiting for fix. I took the dry clutch cover off thinking it was just a little oil from the factory and took it for a spin there was a massive amount of oil that came out and was all over rear tire exhaust and rear set. Other then this the bike has been flawless and super awesome the handling on the v4r with the frame modification and ÷hlins new forks has been absolutely the best I have ever experienced. The bike is worth every penny and then some it would be nice to take it too the isle of man for mad sunday. I rode it two years ago on a bmw s1000 and tried on a 1200 monster.

guess this makes my mind up for now... do not expose the clutch on my bike.

I terribly like the look and hearing the clutch when the cover it off... but i dont want to have to deal with oil leaking out. oh well... i will wait for my recall in the mail

Ducati just replaced the seal to my clutch, they said the manufacturer's seal installed at the factory were defective and there is a new part number being used for the replacement seals.
Thanks from youngR and thorny
