I have the same problem as well - the controls stop working when the bike warms up in hot weather. At first this was just the right turn signal not switching on. Today the cancel / select button and the up button also stopped working.

I have put on about 200 miles on the bike in 4 separate rides now after the fix and there has not been a problem yet. Fingers crossed!
Same problem. Dealer said was a brand new recall item, the wiring. Part just came in and I'm getting fixed tomorrow.

I ordered the part from a dealer and did it myself, it takes about ten minutes, fixed the issue.
The part was only $7 and I didn't want to go 160 miles each way for the dealer to do it.

yep, I had the same issue, left turn sig would stay on , right wouldn't work, high beams wouldnt work, actually, you'll probably find that your horn won't work, or intermittently won't work, and the two menu toggles won't work as well.

After the bike cooled down it worked as normal. Problem went away after doing the wiring harness thing.

Of note, I had new symptoms during my last ride:
In addition to all of the usual failures (see page one of my original post, above), the left turn signal would stay on (very dangerous) and I could no longer activate the high beam.

Just got a message back about mine. It's ready for pickup. They completed the service bulletin as many suggested here.

I can't say it works yet, but I can only assume that was the fix. Hind sight, wish I had done as Chris did and complete it myself since my dealer is over two hours away.

Update, got another 400 miles since the new harness and no problems anymore and still on original dash. Summer is here in full force in Florida with mid-90's and high humidity. Got stuck in a traffic jam today and was stop and go for 20 min. My bike only goes up to 219 Fahrenheit before cooling down when the fan comes on, but it did it for at least 15 min.

The dash, right signal and up button worked perfectly. I consider this issue fixed for me.

Good evening Gents,
It is a well known issue and the bulletin will clear it right up. The bike is amazing and worth the first year quirks that come along with it IMHO. Ducati NA has proven to be very good about standing behind the product thus far.

you don't need to take the fairing off, you just take off the key guard, loosen the bolts that hold the black left dash panel(Idont what else to call it) in place (be careful of the plastic slots not to break them).
The pictures in the ducati bulletin posted in the forum show how to do it.

FYI, the hardest part is bundling up the wires to fit in the space.

It really takes longer to stow the wires but you really need to have the instructions in front of you to keep track of which plug goes where.

Here's a link to the bulletin one of our members was kind enough to post:
