You probably earned a little HP there too. Agreed on the welding, looks like they took 2 steps back and flicked it on with a spoon handle

have a read of this thread, we have not heard the results yet but sounds like the difference wasnt massive:

butfrom what im hearing the sound of the Termi's isnt much more either, so I guess it's not totally surprising.

Has anyone eliminated the muffler system entirely and just "dumped" the exhaust from the header??

I will post up a video and pics later today. Did a little more than just coring it like in the other thread. Sounds pretty badass now. Working on the optical solution now.
If interested you can send me yours and I will get it all done for 280 bucks.plus shipping. I won't do core charges, as there's too many differences in what you get. It's a pretty messy job though as said above.

Pm me if interested.

pics:

test with hex insert (no final fixation solution yet, cant weld the aluminum to the steel...):

here's the vid: (that stupid guy went for a ride in shorts...)

comparison: stock exhaust at the track:

if you have any wishes regarding capturing the sound, lemme know. bottom line is, it rumbles deeper and screams louder than stock and i would claim even the termis. i will hook up with a friend who has a tricolore, to get it back-to-back.

note:
the exhaust shown here was my tribute to the community to find out what it looks like inside and what the results might be.

for further exhausts, i have found a better welder, also we discussed the cuts and the procedure. he also has a laser cutter (2D) where i will get the hex mesh inserts made from stainless steel with proper fixation.
Thanks from AntiHero, TricoloreSF and Cobra700
