Abs

just curious, how would ABS have save you from dumping the bike? Did you lock up the front?

Locked up both (I think, very quick), rear certainly. Car ran stop sign and was directly in front of me. Had to brake too hard and low side to avoid him (which I did). I, of course, don't really know, but I think I might have stayed up, AND could have stopped in time with severe braking. I was only doing like 30, so should have been able to stop on a dime. I have no doubt the panic nature of it make me brake far too hard too fast, even if I possibly did have enough room to stop, and was on the ground before I knew it.
