The problem is it doesn’t matter how good or bad in customer service they are they get the same $$. The cruisest job you can have in A/C year round.

Don’t get called back when they say they would
Don’t give you the tracking number
List goes on

I agree with you. I'd gladly pay 10% more locally. Cycle Gear has three stores in the Houston area, but when they went all-in with the store brand (Bilt I think) and quit carrying about 90% of the quality name brands they use to I quit going as the store brand is crap quality.

I have been very loyal to Revzilla, but I'm waiting to see if Cycle Gear ruins them. So far so good. As to their pricing, I find that on many items their price is fine, but some not. But I'd rather be consistent with them as their service is fantastic and most of what I buy from them their prices are fine. I'm not interested in setting up accounts with a multitude of unknown suppliers.

Check motoin.de

Usually my go to site but there are others as well. Long as you don't mind waiting a little longer for delivery.

the thing that gets me is the tax. even if they discount it a little bit say 10% which i am fine with to support them. then your socked with tax and your discount is only like 3 %. F that. i have this discussion with my local firearms guy. hes like why dont you buy anything from me. i say because you cant match the price. he says i can match the price. i say ok then i will get it from you. i say how much will it be he says xxxx i say thats 150 more than my guy in texas. he goes thats not me thats the govt i say im sorry i pay enough to them already and i order it from TX

Im in the same boat. I tried to support local but stopped years ago once i found the European sites. Ive got 5 massive dealerships and a bunch of small guys in my city and they never have stock and all but 1 think their shit dont stink when i walk in. Im a younger guy so i get how they might think i dont have the cash to spend but thats the biggest mistake when it comes to sales.

This is my go to for gear https://www.fc-moto.de/en_GB. keep in mind the prices quoted include Vat so once you check out and enter your shipping info it comes off. I bought the new 2018 Astars fuji leather jacket which retails for $760 Canadian and got it for $580 canadian shipped
