Possibly Adding another Duc to the stable

Im thinking about buying an 2002 Ducati 998s Bostrom Edition. It's a great price with only 2K miles and in excellent condition. It seems that alot of people are torn between the paint scheme on this bike, but personally I love it!

Heres a pic for people who have never seen one

Wicked nice bike man! Rode one once and miss the feeling sometimes. If you are in MD who has one of these in area for sale? Just curious.

Thanks man, I dont know why but Im really drawn to this bike .I've never rode a 998 tho, but have always loved the styling of this era of Ducs. The bike is in Northern Virginia, a friend of mine who does a lot of work up there told me about it.

Yep...owned and raced the 998. All I can tell you is this.. I own a Panigale and I seriously miss the 998 so much.

Buy it.

Consider me jealous.

This is a very nice piece of machinery!
I've owned myself also a 998 and as said here before it was a thrill riding that bike. Completely different to the Panigale and in my opinion it's not fair comparing both.
Trelis frame, dry clutch, ...
Thinking about it puts back a big smile on my face...
Good luck on the purchase!

Jealous-mode on as well

Well looks like I was a few hours to late. Called up saying I'd be driving up to buy the bike this weekend and it had just sold

Oh well, I will still be searching for a 998 S or R, if anyone knows of someone selling one let me know.

Friend of mine has one, less then 800 miles on it and he won't sell it to me either

So now that it has been sold, how much was it?
